Fire fighting and prevention of such is now the norm in a modern society. At ICT college this concept has been made possible to all by introducing a training of its kind in Fire Fighting, First Aid and Disaster Management.

It is estimated that every year, fires and other emergencies take thousands of lives and destroy property worth billions of shillings. Fire fighters help protect the public against these dangers by responding to fires and a variety of other emergencies.

In addition to putting out fires, they are frequently the first emergency personnel at the scene of a fire, traffic accident or medical emergency and may be called upon to treat injuries or perform other vital functions.

In response to the needs and demand from companies and business ICT is expanding its courses to cater for fire prevention, public/community fire education, 24 hr fire safety, and emergency medical services.
